  If you're wondering whether or not booking Dylan as your wedding photographer is a good idea, stop wondering. It's a great idea! It was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding after the decision to get married! :) I'm American and my husband is Irish and we were planning a wedding in Ireland while living in the U.S. and we didn't leave ourselves a lot of lead time. I knew I wanted photos that would capture the emotions of the day, the joy of our guests, the excitement of so many friends and family being together and the overall good "craic." We weeded through website after website of portfolios from many good photographers. But Dylan's work always stood out. When we met with him via Skype during our consideration process, we knew he was our man. Very easy to chat with, laid back, thoughtful, professional, kind, warm and cool...like the kind of person we'd want to sit and have a pint with anyway. He showed up the day of the wedding with an easy grace that brought me a sense of calm, and while he was always around, he wasn't always noticeable. But he captured the moments that mattered most to us...the laugh of my mother, the smile and joy of my husband's father with all of his boys, my best friend's joyful emotion, my family's outrageous energy and fun and the love of my new husband and myself. I cherish each photo. Dylan managed to please this American who likes a clear-cut plan, and also pleased my Irish husband who has a "ah, sure, it'll be grand" mentality for planning...that's not easy to do. Still thinking about it? Don't...just book him. You won't be sorry.
